Are you thinking about submitting to be a host?

Here are the materials I ask for from approved hosts. Prepare them now to get a jump start. Then, if your show is approved, you'll be ready to go. 


What I need from new hosts so I can set them up:
1. You need to pick a time slot for your show: 
  • Please see our Current Schedule. View the schedule and decide on your desired time slot. Include your preferred time in your submission email.
  • Note: We can have up to 6 shows a day. You may pick a time no closer than 30 minutes to another show. 
  • PLEASE give me show time in EASTERN TIME. Times are listed in EST all over CWA sites.
  • A time and day cannot be secured until payment has been made and approval given, but having a time in mind will still be helpful.
2. Decide on a final show name and include it in your email to me.
3. Prepare a show description. 
  • First visit the  Current Schedule again for samples of what I am looking for on your description.
4. Prepare your graphics.
  • I need a 400x400 quality graphic for your show episodes.
    • It must be that size. 
  • I need a cover image 982x275px for your show page on our station.
5. Prepare bios for all hosts of your show.
  • First see This Show Page as an example of what I am looking for in your bios. This will Include a quality picture of yourself. Note to also send full links to social media sites.
  • Please Do Not send me your bio in all capitals.

Now you should be all set, so when I contact you with approval, all you have to do is fire off the email with graphic attachments. Your show could air on the CWA Radio Network very soon. What are you waiting for? 

Giveaways, Promotions, Ads and Sponsors

Can you offer giveaways, promotions, sell my products during a show?


Yes, here is the process for giveaways involving the whole of CWA Radio. If a giveaway will be exclusive to your show, you can handle all of the details and launch it yourself. 

Absolutely promote yourself. The most effective way to do this is through your show description. You will learn how to do this in training.

You will learn in training how to sell products on air if you wish to do so. 


Please note, The CWA Radio Network is a network to inspire, encourage and inform women. That comes first. 


It is appropriate to share product links, site links, during your show and especially at the end in the chat room as well as in that shows description. Be sure to keep your sales pitches and promotions in balance. Your audience is clever. They will spot ulterior motives. Keep your content primary and the rest peripheral.

In addition to self-promotion, you may run audio ads during your show. These ad spots can be a source of income for you as you sell spots during your show. 

You may also invite sponsors you.  A sponsorship script would look something like: Special thanks to _________ for sponsoring my show today through the CWA Radio Network. Visit them here __________ (that would be your sponsors site).

Co-hosts and Guests

The following are some frequently asked questions regarding guests and co-hosts.

Here are some questions you've asked:

Q: Can I have a Co-Host on my show?


A: Absolutely! If this is a regular thing, then I would want to know about her when you submit your show.


Q: Can I have a male co-host?


A. Yes, love it. Christian Women need to hear from Christian Men too!


Q: Can I have someone to help me co-host the chat room in my show?


A: Yes, someone else can login and just be the co-host for the chatroom during the show. This is a very smart thing. She or he can keep listeners on top of what you say, post URL's, moderate chat, be-friend listeners during the show, and more. We will teach you all this.


Q: Can I have guests on my show?


A: Yes!  It is VERY simple for your guest. You can even 'Dial Out' to them from within the Switchboard.  If you have a guest, be sure to list them in your show description that day along with any pertinent links they have.

Q: What about having a man on my show?


A: Our primary audience is focused on The Christian Woman, but men have insight too! Yes, this is fine. If it fits for your show, then it works!
