The Commitment of Hosting

5/19/2014

New hosts are provided with extensive training materials including written and video instruction. Since CWA will be training you in every aspect, from setting up your personal BTR profile to teaching you how to use the switchboard etc, we ask for a 3 Month commitment from you.

Radio requires commitment. It takes time to build an audience. If you are not faithful to your show time, your audience may diminish. Nobody wants that for you.

The CWA Radio Network serves the listener as well as the host. We do not want our audience frustrated by frequently changing schedules and shows coming and going.

Consistency is very important to us.

If a host is consistent, there is a payoff. The CWA platform will promote regular shows via Facebook, twitter, and pinterest. If a show is irregular, I will not promote it.

I have come to notice that many people submit to be radio hosts in order to build a stronger platform for other endeavors. Maybe you want a publisher to take notice, etc.

While it's true that the CWA Radio Network will help hosts build recognition and extend their platform, it is important that you not leave those committed followers behind when your goals are achieved. Keep your radio audience interested after publication by continuing your show with as much commitment and class as ever.

Once you are a host on CWA Radio, you are not just a woman trying something new. You will be a confident, well prepared women devoted to reaching your audience through the medium of online radio.

If you need to step down from hosting through the CWA Radio Network:
    • We ask for 30 days notice before renewal. This is not contractual. There is no legal requirement for this request. It is merely a courtesy.
    • We are respectfully asking you to give us 30 days notice before stopping your next renewal payment and your show.
