How often is a show on air?
All Shows are on air once a week, and run for up to one hour. (Unless you consult with me for longer length).
You can see our current scheduled shows to have an idea of time and days available.
Our schedule allows for 6 shows a day, 7 days a week. New hosts will review the current schedule and choose a time that is not already filled. Hosts must select a time that is at least 30 minutes away from another host's air time.
Please be aware that Radio does require commitment from you. We expect consistency in your shows. This is for the good of the network, and to benefit you. Listeners lose interest when a show is infrequently aired. It's our goal to help you capture and keep your audience for the long run.
Of course, we understand that things will come up and you will need to skip a show or take a short break. Illnesses and emergencies happen. I'm happy to give hosts time for a make up show when they need to miss for illness or emergencies.
If you have a scheduled vacation you can prepare missed shows ahead of time by pre-recording. Then, if you need to miss, you can go in and upload a file to replace the empty space. There are instructions for doing this in the training materials.
When hosts must miss an episode, they are responsible for rescheduling with me for a make-up, uploading pre-recorded material, or deleting the episode in question for the day.
If a host shows a pattern of frequent misses, we reserve the right to replace the show with one that will be more reliable.
